purpose
The traditional Chinese medicine decoction machine is mainly used for the one-time packaging of Chinese herbal medicine decoction and liquid medicine. It is easy to carry and store, and can be taken multiple times by patients.


Installation and debugging
1. This equipment should be installed in a place with good ventilation and lighting conditions.
2. The installation site requires water supply and drainage conditions.
3. Adjust the balance of the decoction machine to make it stable, and secure the packaging machine wheels in the locked position.

machine operation
1. Put the medicine to be processed into a specially made non-woven bag, tie the mouth, put it in a container, and soak it in cold water for 30 minutes. Clean the decoction machine, open the waste liquid valve, drain clean water, close the waste liquid valve, close the medicine liquid valve, put the soaked medicine bag into the medicine pot, and add the soaked liquid and water.
Water addition ratio (for reference only): Water addition amount=required amount of medicine+20%
Calculation formula: Water addition amount=(capacity of each bag of medicine x number of times taken per day x number of pairs of medicine boiled in total) x 1.2
For example, the decoction consists of 5 doses, with 2 bags per dose and 180ml per dose
Water addition amount=(180 × 2 × 5) × 1.2=2160ml
2. Operation steps: Put traditional Chinese medicine and water into the decoction machine, cover the pot lid, tighten the handle, close the air release safety valve, set the decoction time and temperature, press the heating button, the machine will automatically heat up, and when the set temperature is reached, it will automatically turn to low heat. After reaching the set time, the heating will automatically stop. After the medicine is cooked, first open the exhaust safety valve and reduce the pressure appropriately (to about 1kg), then open the discharge valve for the medicine solution. The medicine solution is injected into the packaging machine's medicine tank through the discharge hose. During the discharge process, the squeezing device is rotated to squeeze out the residual medicine solution in the medicine package. After the liquid medicine is discharged, fully open the exhaust safety valve, reduce the pressure to atmospheric pressure, open the handle to remove the medicine pack, turn off the power, and clean it for backup.
Specific operating steps: power supply → heating → stop → open drain valve → squeeze → clean


Cleaning and maintenance
1. Cleaning:
Decoction machine: After each pot is cooked, rinse the decoction machine with clean water, drain the waste liquid, clean the pot cover and sealing ring with a soft cloth to prevent residual medicine from sticking. After working every day, please remove the filter bucket and thoroughly clean the bottom and inner walls with a soft cloth. Do not use cleaning tools that have lost threads or hair to clean.
2. Maintenance:
Decoction machine: Rotate the handle and screw for a period of time, then add butter to make the operation more flexible and prevent wear. Regularly rinse the inner wall of the drainage hose with clean water.


precautions
1. To ensure personal safety, grounding protection must be done well.
2. During the cleaning process, the electrical control part cannot be cleaned with water.
3. Before opening the lid of the pot, the exhaust safety valve must be opened to release the pressure inside the pot.
4. It is strictly prohibited to open the waste liquid valve during the decoction process to prevent personnel from getting burned.
5. After each pot of medicine is cooked, the contact surface between the pot cover and the sealing ring should be cleaned to prevent residual medicine from sticking to the sealing ring.
6. Before closing the lid of the pot for each decoction, carefully check the sealing ring to ensure that it is correctly installed in the groove.
7. If the non-woven bag packaging the medicine is damaged during the decoction process, it is necessary to clean the medicine residue before use to prevent the residue from hitting the packaging machine and causing blockage.
8. The decoction machine should avoid dry burning.
9. When tightening the handle of the decoction machine, apply pressure evenly diagonally to prevent deformation of the pot lid.
10. When the decoction machine has not reached the set time during operation, the power switch should be turned off the next time the decoction is made to reset the counter. Otherwise, the machine will automatically start timing and stop automatically when the time is reached.
